PC-FX : Tenchi Muyo! Ryououki FX (JPN)

Tenchi Muyo! Ryououki FX (天地無用！魎皇鬼ＦＸ) is an interactive adventure/comic that developed by Micro Cabin and published by NEC back in 1996, exclusively for the NEC PC-FX console system and the Japanese market. The story centered around a girl named Hakua from the Galaxy Police who ends up on Earth with Tenchi and the gang for a short time. Tenchi-muyo! Ryououki FX is actually 2 games in one. First it is an enhanced remake of the PC Engine & PC-98 Tenchi Muyo game. And on a second disc is a PC-FX exclusive (Hakua from the first game , revisits the team). Both of these are based off the anime series and have the original voice cast. The PC-FX remake is very true to the original. The first mayor improvement is that the opening sequence is much smoother and uses the actual Tenchi Muyo! OVA theme rather than a PSG rendition. All of the background graphics are now full-screen and of course, the sound quality is far better in this version. As you expect from a game of this genre, there aren't many things you can do apart from choosing answers that unlock a different scene. Althought, this kind of experience is not meant for everyone, the fans of the Tenchi series will probably love it. In order to understand and enjoy the game, a basic understanding of the Japanese language is required. It's not an import friendly game.
