TRIP REPORT | Lufthansa Airbus A340-600 (Economy) | New York - Frankfurt

It had always been my dream to fly on the Airbus A340-600, and back in May 2026, I got the chance to fly on one of Lufthansa's A340-600s from New York to Frankfurt, a few months before they retired! It was indeed a pleasure to be on board one of these majestic jets, and she will be missed for sure! —————————————————————————————— FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM   / fly_with_robin   —————————————————————————————— FLIGHT INFORMATION ✈️ Airline: Lufthansa Aircraft: Airbus A340-600 Registration: D-AIHW Origin: New York (JFK), USA Destination: Frankfurt (FRA), Germany Seat: 53K Date: 11th May 2026 —————————————————————————————— TICKET COST 💵 New York (JFK) - Frankfurt (FRA) - Vancouver (YVR) = US$ 1161.10/- Ticket purchased on 16th March 2026 —————————————————————————————— VIDEO BREAKDOWN 🎬 00:00 - Intro 00:29 - My plane and boarding 01:38 - My seat and view 02:08 - Engine startup 03:04 - Takeoff 08:03 - Pillow and Blanket 08:26 - Pre-meal snacks and Beer 08:43 - Inflight Dinner service 09:16 - Sunset! 09:48 - Inflight Entertainment System (IFE) 11:51 - Lavatories! 12:05 - Breakfast 12:37 - Seatback contents 13:09 - Sunrise! 13:20 - Descent towards Frankfurt 18:20 - Landing 20:59 - Docking at our gate 22:07 - De-planing 22:29 - Outro #tripreport #a340 #lufthansa #airbusa340
