spain diaries | hiking sierra de gredos & one of the best sushi in madrid

We spent the day exploring the Sierra de Gredos Regional Park, just a couple of hours from Madrid. What started as a peaceful hike quickly turned into a surreal winter landscape. Thick fog, deep snow, and almost zero visibility. Nature changed so fast and we had to turn back earlier than expected due to the conditions. After the mountains, we headed back to Madrid to warm up and end the day with sushi at Akiro. A long-awaited stop at a very popular spot. Crowded, hyped, and finally tried. Good food, but was it worth the wait?
