Tere Jeya Hor Disda | Xulfi ft. Zeeshan Ali | Lyric Video (2020)

Original by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Of all the songs I’ve produced, the originals and the ones I’ve reimagined, Tere Jeya Hor Disda has a special place in my heart. When we shortlisted the song for Nescafé Basement Season 4, I knew I had heard a voice during my talent scouting that can not only do justice to it, but give it his own vibe. Zeeshan Ali. Called him over to the jam. The moment he sang the first line, I started smiling because I knew this is the beginning of a special process. I wanted the song to have a unique beginning. Different than all other versions of it. That idea actually connected me to another talent of Zeeshan, lyric writing. He wrote these lines that instantly had my heart .. ‎تیرے قدماں اچ رکھ دیاں ساواں The way these lines connected to the soul of the song ... I just felt that maybe this is going to be the beginning not just of the song but of the complete season as the sentiment actually described our love and effort we had put in for you, the listeners, in all the songs of this season. Listen to the song and let it take you away into its universe.
