X4 Foundations: Testing 60 Chimera equipped with thermal disintegrators

Hello everybody, This time I test thermal disintegrators as a posible replacement for torpedoes, for my bomber wing. Conclusions: hmm...it works, but is a very slow process. I've lost 2 Chimera, while killing 2 Ks. Not much in losses, but I suffer those losses because, the more time the bombers spend on target, the more the risk increase. if I want to keep it only split tech, I must use torpedoes for my bomber wing, there is no substitute. Sure, I get screwed royally in low attention, with zero dmg from torpedoes, but IS, capital ships go boom in seconds.
