A retrospective and cautionary tale on the career of Matt DiBenedetto, one of the biggest "what could've beens" in modern NASCAR. 6 years after being an abandoned Joe Gibbs prospect, he finished 6th on pace in a BK Racing shitbox, gaining notoriety as the token lovable underdog in NASCAR. Then he nearly took the Leavine Family Racing 95 to victory lane 3 years later at the same track. But Matt was not prepared to handle stardom, or to wear the underdog label, when it was his shot at the bigtime...
