Charleston Southern vs Georgia Southern Eagles Highlights | 2026 Sun Belt Conference Football

Max Johnson threw for 281 yards, three Eagles scored rushing touchdowns, and Georgia Southern cruised past FCS member Charleston Southern 31-0 on Saturday night. Johnson was 28-for-39 passing and Ashton Hollins caught eight passes for 106 yards and a score. Jamarian Samuel, Ty Cummings, and Weston Bryan each scored on the ground. The Eagles scored touchdowns on each of their first three opening drives in the first quarter to take a 21-0 lead. Samuel capped off the opening drive with a 7-yard rush, Hollins reeled in a 59-yard scoring grab, and Bryan punched it in from one yard out before the end of the quarter. The Eagles defense held Charleston Southern to 35 yards of total offense. The Buccaneers had just four drives that lasted longer than four plays.
