Jackpot & Highclimber Pt 1 - Mountain Biking from Tofte to Lutsen MN - (Britton Peak Trailhead)

We spent the day riding Jackpot & Highclimber Trails. It was 16 miles of amazing! We had an absolute blast. There is lots of flow, lots of rocks, some fast descents & lots of climbing. It was difficult to edit the footage down because there is so many features on the trail. While I want it to be entertaining, I also wanted to give a feel of the overall trial for others who like me are planning for what to expect! As for the trip I tried doing as much research as I could before we left. We made the decision to go the Tofte to Lutsen route (after being recommended to go the other way dooh). According the the elevation charts we thought it would be a bit more long gradual downhill with punchy climbs. Sound great to my gravity friendly body! While this may have been true, the whole time we thought it would almost be better riding the other way. Many other riders (who do go the other direction) have videos saying the same thing. Find them! They are fun to watch! Either way you go the ride is beautiful and fun. Its a lot of work but totally worth it. If you are more prone to being playful, finding side hits and senders, I would recommend riding from Lutsen toward Tofte. As a side note: I would love to spend more time at Britton Peak next time. The short amount of trails we rode we super fun too!
