Originally, I was going to do the peak direction (M) Train, but when I got to Bedford Park Blvd, everything changed because there was two R46 sets on loan to the (B) Line on June 25, 2025. Due to several R68A sets going through SMS, there was a shortage, and Coney Island Yard loaned two R46 sets from the (N) (Q) (W) Lines to the (B) Line for the morning rush and midday hours. I will talk more about it when I get to the R46 rides. And my plan was to get the peak direction R68A (B) Train and so many R68s passed me that I almost ran out of luck, but we got one of the last two Peak Direction Local (B) Trains of the day and we got a treat and saw the two R46s in action. A lot of railfanners showed up for the special occasion, and I got the R46 (B) to 145 after this and I noticed a difference in the max speed between different car models and I’ll talk a little bit about it in the special roundtrip. So yeah, I wasn’t expecting such a rare opportunity to appear right in front of me, but it did and stay tuned for that within the next 24 hours.
