🌍 Explore Beaver Harbour, New Brunswick, Canada 🇨🇦 — a beautiful fishing community tucked away along the Bay of Fundy coast in Charlotte County. Join me as we take a relaxing journey through Beaver Harbour, discovering its working harbour, rugged Fundy coastline, fishing wharf, local history and the historic Lighthouse Point Lighthouse overlooking the entrance to the harbour. Beaver Harbour has a fascinating history stretching back to 1783, and for generations the sea and fishing have played an important part in life here. We’ll also visit the wharf, where mackerel fishing is one of those simple summertime experiences that makes exploring New Brunswick’s coastal communities so enjoyable. And standing watch over the harbour is Lighthouse Point Lighthouse, originally known as Drews Head Lighthouse. A lighthouse has guided vessels into Beaver Harbour since the 1870s, helping mariners safely reach this protected harbour along the Bay of Fundy. One of the main reasons I make these videos is to encourage people to get out, go for a drive, explore and discover the beautiful little towns, fishing villages and harbours we have right here in New Brunswick. You don’t always have to travel thousands of kilometres to find beautiful places. Sometimes an incredible destination is waiting just down a quiet coastal road.
