Before God builds something through our hands, He often builds something in our hearts. In Week 1 of Building From the Heart, Pastor Toney Browning teaches from 1 Chronicles 28:1–8. David had a dream to build the temple, but God entrusted that work to Solomon. David’s response challenges us to surrender our plans, support one another, and stay faithful to what God has called us to do today. A surrendered heart trusts God’s plan.
