Big Dog or Small Dog?! 15 REAL Differences They Don't Tell You
A wire-haired terrier named Tuck turned up on my father’s farm one winter, ribs showing, one ear torn into a crinkle. Everybody decided she was a problem. Too pushy. Too worked up. And every time things looked tense between her and the big dog, somebody scooped her up and carried her inside. It took a long time to understand she wasn’t the problem at all. This video goes through fifteen real differences between big dogs and small ones — the ones that actually matter for their health and their life with you. Some are biology: a Great Dane can be a senior at six while a terrier the same age is still in his prime, big deep-chested dogs carry a risk in their stomach that can turn deadly in hours, small dogs have forty-two teeth crowded into a jaw that was never meant to hold them. Some are habits we never question. And number fifteen sits underneath all the others. By the end, you’ll know what Tuck was really telling us that winter — and what my father finally did about it.
