2024 Illawarra Live Steamers Hot Pot Run

Each year live steamers look forward to the annual Hot Pot run at the Illawarra Live Steamers. This event is held over the Kings Birthday long weekend and entry is 3 tins of soup. This entitles you to run on their track and imbibe in bottomless cups of soup. This video is of the Sunday only but plenty of locos and enthusiast visitors made for a great day. Heavy rain the previous week made the ground soggy and the creek was high, giving true reason for the bridges and embankments. I have only captured a small part of the action.
