Exploring Busan 🇰🇷 | Gamcheon Culture Village, Songdo Beach & a Glass-Bottom Cable Car

Join the Murray Family for our first day exploring Busan, South Korea! We started at Gamcheon Culture Village, the colourful hillside village that was turned into an art village in 2009 and is now one of Busan's most popular spots. We tried the famous grilled marshmallow ice cream (toasted with a T-rex torch!), took in the view over the rooftops, found the Little Prince statue (and its very long queue), and wandered the K-pop photocard and handmade shops on the way down through the little side streets. Then we headed to Songdo Beach, Korea's first public beach. Emily and Harry headed off from there, so it was Mum, Dad and Lacey who walked the Songdo Cloud Trail out over the sea to Turtle Island, then rode the Songdo Marine Cable Car (Busan Air Cruise) in a glass-bottom Crystal Cruise cabin across to Songdo Sky Park, where we found dinosaurs hiding in the bushes! Good to know: the glass-bottom cable car cost us ₩66,000 for two adults and one child, and the ride is only about five minutes each way. We went at about 5pm on a Monday, which was a nice time to go (not too hot, and no queue for tickets).
