From Elephants to the Periyar Forest | Our Day in Thekkady

Our day in Thekkady, Kerala, turned into one of those family memories we'll probably talk about for years. 🐘🌿 We started with a cardamom and spice garden, explored coffee plantations, and watched our kids discover the little things along the way. And then came the moment we weren't quite sure how they would react to—their first elephant ride! From an elephant blessing us with its trunk, to a traditional Kerala sadya, Kathakali and an exciting Kadathanadan Kalari performance, the day was full of completely different experiences. The next morning, we headed into Periyar Tiger Reserve for a boat safari, spotting animals, beautiful forests and some incredibly peaceful scenery along the way.
