The Everything Belt

South Carolina may be known as the Bible Belt, but on our college campuses, it's the everything belt. In this episode, Lee Clamp sits down with Chad Stillwell, who leads Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) efforts across South Carolina, and Adam Venters, campus director of Carolina BCM at the University of South Carolina, to talk about what God is doing among college students across our state. You'll hear about the big announcement of a new 16,500-square-foot Carolina BCM facility, complete with a rooftop gathering space, made possible through a property exchange with the University of South Carolina. You'll also hear how Carolina BCM has grown from 20–30 students to more than 500, with nearly 200 professions of faith last year. And you'll hear stories of students from Mormon, Jehovah's Witness, and Wiccan backgrounds rubbing shoulders with the Gospel. Most importantly, this conversation is about the local church. Whether your church runs 100 or 1,000, there's a place for you to engage the students in your community. With about 60 college campuses and more than a quarter million students in South Carolina, the harvest is right next door. Want to connect your church with a BCM near you?
