Ableton Sound Design Tutorial -Ambient Pad In this Ableton Live Tutorial we take a look at pad sound design, specifically how to freeze a reverb and record it to make lush pads ideal for Tech House, Techno, Deep House and of course ambient genres. This technique offers a wide range of variations from altering the source synths and samples through to the choice of reverb (we use the excellent Audio Damage EOS here but you can use the Ableton Live built-in reverb if you prefer) and it’s modulation parameters.
