Prayer of the Day | Memorial of Pope Saint John XXIII — The Medicine of Mercy

Begin your dayin the peace of Christ with this prayer and the commemoration of Pope Saint John XXIII. Known affectionately as the "Good Pope," Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli convoked the Second Vatican Council on this date in 1962, calling the Church to open her doors and embrace the world with the "medicine of mercy." Today, we offer our praise on the Lord's Day, seeking his intercession for a spirit of humble trust in Divine Providence, authentic peace (Pacem in Terris), and Christian fraternity. 🙏 Subscribe to Divine Word Channel for daily Catholic prayers rooted in Scripture, Church history, and the living tradition of the saints.
