My lathe motor blew on me so I’m upgrading it to a treadmill motor. I’ve looked up a lot of different instructions online but they all seemed to be missing something so I decided to make an all-encompassing guide for upgrading the Harbor Freight 12x36. Everything that I use is inexpensive or improvised. I don’t have expensive tools or materials. Here is where you can find the schematics that I made for this project. https://www.dropbox.com/s/13fq49fy6ba... You can get all of the items that I use in the electronics at Amazon. 12V DC Power Supply: https://www.amzn.com/B07WDCY44H/ AC SCR Motor Speed Controller: https://www.amzn.com/B087JBGHXG/ 200K Ohm Potentiometer: https://www.amzn.com/B01LZDAAQH On/Off Switch: https://www.amzn.com/B00KPEFL2I/ Bridge Rectifier: https://www.amzn.com/B079KDL8Y5/ DPDT Polarity Reversing Switch: https://www.amzn.com/B07W72XJQH/ Tachometer: https://www.amzn.com/B01FQMI18Y/ I didn’t include the project box because it ended up being too small so I’m making one out of wood.
