This video is about restoring an Antique French Guillotine to its former glory. This unique and historic piece has seen the passage of time , with rust , wear and damage , affecting both its structure and sharpness. It is considered the most common guillotine from 1930-1950 . Were the most sold and most used thing in that era , really a gem for French people. The guillotine was found by Tysytube in the southern France , at fleamarket. Because he restored 2 or 3 guillotines , he asked me if I want one for restoration project and he bought it for me. The restoration process includes careful disassembly , rust removal process , cleaning wooden parts , sharpening and reassembly. Also I made some missing parts , replaced the parts which were not original . Every step is shown in detail , highlighting the restoration process from a worn out artifact into a fully restored object . This video is created for educational and historical purpose only , the guillotine is treated like a collectible antique and not intended for any harmful use .
