Bedni Bugyal Trek in Winter | 3 Days in the Snow | Uttarakhand

Three days, a lot of snow, and one very loyal mountain dog. In February 2021 we trekked from Wan village to Bedni Bugyal (3,354 m) in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. The meadow was completely under snow, Bedni Kund was frozen solid, and we got caught in snowfall on the way down and spent the night in a stone hut. The next morning gave us one of the best sunrises we've seen, with clear views of the big peaks. Bedni Bugyal sits on the old Nanda Devi Raj Jat route, and the trail starts near the Latu Devta temple in Wan.
