QuadraWave — “I’m Sorry” This is probably the hardest song I’ve ever made. “I’m Sorry” was written for my son, who I lost to DIPG roughly 12 years ago. Today, on his birthday, I finally found the courage to put some of those feelings into music. For a long time, even thinking about him was difficult. Speaking about him was harder. Turning that pain into a song felt almost impossible. But this song became a conversation I needed to have. It’s about love. It’s about grief. It’s about regret. It’s about the things I wish I could have done differently. And it’s about finally understanding that, as a parent, I did the best I could with what I knew and what I had at the time. There will always be things I wish I could change. But there will never be a day when I stop loving my son. “I’m Sorry” is more than a song to me. It’s a piece of my heart, a way of remembering him, and a reminder that love doesn’t end when someone is gone. If you've ever lost someone you love, I hope this song reaches you in a different way.
