Lynton Day Trips, Horrocks and Northampton, Bowes River & Willi Gulli, Lynton Station.

This was a big day. Started with a drive to Horrocks and morning tea at the beach. Just a few kilometers away is the mouth of Bowes River. Looks like a great fishing spot. Inland from there is Willi Gulli, with views out over Bowes River and the blooming flowers. From here I drove through the canola fields to historic Northampton. Nice spot for lunch, shopping and a look around. In the afternoon I walked through Lynton Station to the mouth of the Hutt River. More flowers and birds to photograph. Returning to the station, I visited the station museum and historic buildings.
