Australia Zoo | BUCKET LIST DAY | March 2026

We finally ticked off Australia Zoo on our bucket list and what an incredible day out! By far the biggest zoo we have ever been to, meaning shuttle buses and land trains make it easier to get around. Watching Steve Irwin growing up on the television made this day quite surreal, the passion that the Irwin family still have is nothing short of inspiring. The highlight of the day was the Crocoseum where the keepers put on a very brave display in amongst the crocodiles. The information displayed around the park is excellent, showcasing the history of the park and the ongoing conservation. We also visited the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital which is located next for to the main zoo. This was a sneak peak into the amazing work Australia Zoo are getting involved with, we were watching a live operation on a Possum whilst we were inside.
