Here is an audio rarity, especially where Frank Sinatra is concerned: a previously unknown, complete Frank Sinatra radio program from the 1940s. This show is an unaired, audition program recorded in August 1944 advance of Sinatra's summer/fall 1944 Vimm's radio series for CBS which was titled "Frank Sinatra In Person" AKA "The Frank Sinatra Show". Musical excerpts from this show were previously uploaded to this channel. This is the entire program which, because it was audition program, was likely never aired and which does not appear on any list of known Frank Sinatra radio programs. The guests on this show are Gloria DeHaven** and Orson Welles. With musical accompaniment from Axel Stordahl directing an orchestra and vocal chorus. The announcer is Ed Emerson. **Based on Sinatra's comments at the end of the program, Gloria DeHaven was expected to appear regularly on the show. However, she did not appear on the show again.
