Welcome to the Great South Road in Auckland on a cloudy spring day. Crossing multiple suburbs, the road begins in the central Auckland suburb of Epsom, then passes through the suburbs of Greenlane, Ellerslie, Penrose, Otahuhu, Papatoetoe, Manukau, Manurewa and Papakura. Leaving the urban sprawl, it heads south through Drury before terminating at Mill Road in Bombay and merging with the Waikato Expressway. The walk begins on Great South Road near Greenlane West Road, and down towards Ellerslie and finishing near Rockfield Road. This section of Great South Road has many car dealerships located there.
