A Destiny 2 sleep story on the Moon, where you walk the silent grey plains of Mare Cognitum under a full Earth. You are a Hunter who comes up to the Moon for a few nights every autumn, to gather the shells of Ghosts that died there and carry them home before the Festival of the Lost. With a soft brush, squares of grey cloth and a bundle of paper tags, you walk the dust with your own Ghost beside you, looking for one small shell in particular. Along the way your Ghost tells you something it has never told you before. Then you climb back into your ship, pour your tea, and lay the shells in a row beneath the window, with the Earth turning slowly overhead. Out past the old First Light labs, the greenhouses still stand in their rows behind dusty glass, and every dead plant inside leans the same way. A green glow sits far off on the horizon, and a Ghost's last record asks a question you may remember from the Shadowkeep year. You don't need to know any of that to drift off.
