Linford Christie 1994 interview and training in Australia

Linford Christie's interview on Australian TV 1994. This video includes images I took of Linford and his Coach Ron Roddan training in Narrabeen in January of 1993. I had travelled down from Brisbane to Sydney to compete and photograph in the Sydney Grand Prix with good friends Steve Hyde and Peter Bevan (Mayne Harriers) and while out training we came across Ron and Linford at Narabeen. I had been coached by Ron and his squad at West London for a few months in mid 1991 and it was great to catch with him and after asking him if I could film, he let me photograph the training session from the infield. The photos of Linford and Colin Jackson were taken with an old Tamron 300 2.8 manual focus lense using Fuji Velvia 50 ASA film. This image was my first Australian magazine cover thanks to Terry O'Halloran and the team at Australian Runner Magazine. Duane Hart
