Steady Flow past a Cylinder (Re = 20) • Simulated Steady Laminar Flow past a Cylinder at Reynolds number 20 using ANSYS Fluent. • Developed a "structured mesh" with boundary layer refinement to accurately capture flow separation and wake development. • Post-processed velocity contours, pressure fields, streamline patterns, and recirculation regions to study bluff body flow behavior. • Achieved a drag coefficient of Cd ≈ 2.0, in close agreement with the Fornberg (1980) benchmark data, validating the accuracy of the simulation. • Ansys Fluent CFD Simulation files: https://archive.org/details/steady-fl...
