Deleting or formatting a pen drive does NOT erase your data. In this video I recover "deleted" files using Recuva, then wipe the drive with DiskPart's "clean all" command and scan again. Watch what happens. 🔧 TOOLS USED Recuva (free file recovery, Windows only): https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/xp8... Tip: download from the official site only, and untick the optional CCleaner offer in the installer. 💻 COMMANDS USED (Windows, run CMD as Administrator) ⚠️ Choose the wrong disk and you will erase it. Check your disk number first! diskpart list disk select disk X clean all After the wipe, to make the drive usable again: create partition primary format fs=exfat quick assign ❗ COMMON ERRORS "Access is denied": run CMD as Administrator and close every program using the drive (Recuva, File Explorer). "Unknown capacity" when formatting: the drive has no partition. Run "create partition primary" in DiskPart first. Task Manager shows 0 KB/s write during clean all: the wipe is stuck. Unplug the drive, try another USB port, and retry. 📝 NOTES "clean" only removes partition info. "clean all" overwrites every sector with zeros. This makes recovery extremely difficult with normal tools like Recuva. Flash drives use wear leveling, so for highly sensitive data, encrypt the drive (e.g., BitLocker To Go) before storing files on it. Only wipe drives you own. Always double-check the disk number. This video is for educational purposes only. Use these methods only on your own devices. 📌 Subscribe to Wizztrace for more Windows tips and cyber safety. #Recuva #DiskPart #DataRecovery #WindowsTips #CyberSafety #Wizztrace
