Simon & Garfunkel 🔥 Folk Rock Classics | Monterey Pop Festival 1967 (Inspired Tribute)

🔥 THE SHOW THE ROLLING STONES HID FOR 28 YEARS Welcome to Lost Take Vault. This session is a tribute inspired by The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus — filmed December 11-12, 1968, at InterTel Studio in Wembley, London. Conceived by Mick Jagger as a circus-themed television special complete with clowns and acrobats, the show brought together an extraordinary lineup: the Rolling Stones, The Who, Taj Mahal, and a one-night-only supergroup called The Dirty Mac — John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, and Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell. It marked John Lennon's first public performance outside The Beatles, and Yoko Ono famously emerged from a black bag on stage to improvise alongside violinist Ivry Gitlis. Unhappy with feeling upstaged by their own guests, the Rolling Stones shelved the footage for nearly three decades — it wasn't officially released until 1996. This would also be Brian Jones' final performance with the band before his departure. This session recreates that buried television spectacle — defiant survival, raw confession, sprawling temptation, and a humble, ensemble closing toast, all captured with the raw, unpolished character of a real 1968 studio recording. 🎧 PERFECT FOR: Late-night listening & reflection Deep focus & studying Fans of classic rock & blues songwriting Lovers of historically inspired live recordings Anyone who loves music history's most legendary lost recordings Long drives & quiet evenings 🎵 FULL TRACKLIST: 00:00 - Cloudy 03:39 - For Emily Whenever I May Find Her 08:10 - The Dangling Conversation 12:05 - Richard Cory 15:42 - April Come She Will 19:59 - Homeward Bound 23:32 - Scarborough Fair-Canticle 27:27 - A Poem on the Underground Wall 30:39 - I Am a Rock 34:27 - The Sound of Silence 39:08 - He Was My Brother 42:59 - Mrs Robinson 47:16 - The 59th Street Bridge Song 👉 If this session moved you, hit LIKE, drop a comment telling us which track hit you hardest, and SUBSCRIBE to Lost Take Vault for more legendary tributes, historic concert recreations, and live concert-style sessions every week. 🔁 Share this with someone who loves classic rock history. 🔔 Turn on notifications so you never miss a new session. #LostTakeVault #RollingStones #TheDirtyMac #JohnLennon #EricClapton #SympathyForTheDevil #InspiredTribute #LiveConcertMusic
