The BBC has removed a Katherine Ryan joke about Victoria Beckham from an episode of Have I Got News For You on iPlayer after upholding complaints from two viewers. The remark aired in November 2025. After reviewing it, the BBC’s Executive Complaints Unit decided that comparing Beckham to a highly offensive word had no sufficient editorial justification.
