In this video, we will be taking another look at the mod that aims to re-create the Halo: Combat Evolved Multiplayer and Campaign experiences, this time within the Halo 3 ODST engine. IMPORTANT As of the time of publishing the Workshop does NOT support custom audio files yet, so you will have to manually download and replace the audio files with Halo 3: Combat Evolved's audio files. The download link can be found here. [drive.google.com] Once downloaded you will need to drop the "fmod" folder from the zip file into your "halo3odst" Directory (you can find this but right clicking MCC in your Steam Library and selecting "Browse Local Files". When asked to replace files hit Yes . (Make sure to backup the files first before replacing) Information The mod is HEAVILY work in progress, bugs, issues and missing content is to be expected. Kashiiera is the only person working on this mod currently and remastering all levels from Combat Evolved, polishing them, ai placement, scripting and more takes a huge amount of my time so there is bound to be issues Kashiiera overlooked during development. If you found any bugs or have general feedback make sure to let me know! Because this mod utilizes the Halo 3: ODST engine, you can play through Halo: Combat Evolved's campaign with up to 4 players in online Co-Op. While Kashiiera wanted the mod to stay as close as possible to Combat Evolved, she eventually made the decisions to introduce cut content from Combat Evolved as well as a few custom (non intrusive) encounters to spice up the campaign and give it a fresh coat of paint. Cut content such as encounters, scripts, items and set pieces have been re-added. How to Play To play, simply just subscribe to the mod and wait until the download is finished. Once finished you need to launch MCC with EAC Disabled. For Campaign you need to head over to Campaigns - Halo 3: ODST - Halo 3: Combat Evolved and select any level.
