When We Meet Again in Telluride - Bonnie Barnard & Randy Garibay (Official Audio)

"When We Meet Again in Telluride" – Official Audio Written & Composed by: Bonnie Barnard and Randy Garibay Licensing: Music Gateway Sync Catalog "When we meet again in Telluride, baby we'll search for Stan and we’ll ride the gondola to the highest high... and you'll say you love me." This song stops you in your tracks. "When We Meet Again in Telluride" is a haunting, devastatingly raw piece of narrative songwriting. Carrying the quiet, grounding emotional weight found in the works of Gregory Alan Isakov, Phoebe Bridgers, and Jensen McRae, the track is a masterclass in stripped-back storytelling. LYRICS You were hanging out at the bar You were with another girl and you were smiling You saw me by the light of the moon You should have known better than to greet me But you know I always had my way Yeah baby I always had my way You were dancing with me As the storm rolled in For a second the world spun around Yeah for a second the world was alright My dad asked you where you’ve been You said you’ve been trying to get it right You said you’ve been trying When we meet again in Telluride Baby we’ll search for Stan And we’ll ride the gondola to the highest high And you’ll say you love me Yeah you’ll say you’ll love me I saw you standing by my door I was looking through the shade wishing you were made for me I saw your hand shake for just a moment But then you brushed it off like a warrior right before a fight You had a drink with my dad You played shuffleboard just like you never left You read my brother’s fortune While the world drifted away Inside my crowded house You just laughed and laughed You played “Time In A Bottle For Me” And then you said you’re not gonna see me Just like that You’re not gonna see me When we meet again in Telluride Baby we’ll search for Stan And we’ll ride the gondola to the highest high And you say you love me When we meet again in Telluride Baby we’ll search for Stan And we’ll ride the gondola to the highest high And you’ll say you love me When we meet again in Telluride Baby we’ll search for Stan And we’ll ride the gondola To the highest high And you’ll say you love me Yeah you’ll say you love me This collaboration brings together a powerful musical lineage and a proven track record in major film and television placements. • Bonnie Barnard is a veteran composer signed to the elite Crucial Music library.
