Resolving to E major at the end is just incredible... Chopin Nocturne Op72 No1 in E minor #chopin

One of my favourite Chopin Nocturnes. Starts moody and haunting and then undergoes honestly one of my favourite minor to major transitions at the end of the piece. Just beautiful! This piece was published posthumously (in 1855), 6 years after Chopin's death. It's generally considered the first nocturne he wrote, when was about 17. How he managed to write something like this as his very first one, just... no words. #piano #pianist #chopin
