Kayak Paddle with CCKC from Shellrock Boating Access to Bear Inlet and back about 6.7 miles 9 19 26

Todays Adventure was a kayak paddle with the Crystal Coast Kayak Community from Shellrock Landing, located in the north eastern part of Onslow County, to Bear Inlet and back, about a 6.7 mile trip. Weather as cool in the morning but warmed up as the day progressed. A little overcast and light wind helped keep us cool. We paddled against an incoming tide hoping sufficient incoming tide would allow easier maneuvering around sholes and it did. A nice paddle to the inlet, some time walking the beaches of Bear Island and and enjoyable paddle back to our launch site. Another enjoyable day on the water with friends.
