Memunatu's Story | Mercy Ships

At just 10 months old, Memunatu’s life was in danger. A growing tumour on her neck made it difficult to eat, swallow and breathe. After volunteer Anne-Marie van Tonder helped bring her to the Global Mercy, Memunatu received life-saving surgery. Today, the tumour is gone, her smile has returned, and she has the chance to grow up healthy and happy.
