Learn how to onboard, configure, connect, and manage a Greengrass Lite device using IoTConnect. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to: Navigate to the Greengrass Device section and create a new device template Enter the Template Name, Template Code, Authentication Type, and Device Type Configure the required device attributes and save the template Register a new Greengrass Lite device by entering the device details, Entity, and Template Open the device details page and download the required Connection Kit Navigate to the Components section and create a new component Upload the required recipe file and package file Create a package by entering the package name, selecting the appropriate template, and providing an optional description Select the required custom components and public components Navigate to the Deploy section and create a new deployment Enter the deployment name, select the package, and choose the appropriate Target Type Deploy the package to a specific device, entity, or template Verify the deployment in the Deployment List Check the device connection status and review incoming telemetry in the Live Data tab Review deployment details, target information, and deployment status Navigate to the deployment History section to inspect revisions, associated components, component versions, and reported statuses Delete an existing component and verify its removal from the Components list Refresh the Deployment List, delete an existing deployment, and verify its removal This walkthrough demonstrates how IoTConnect enables end-to-end Greengrass Lite device onboarding and management, including secure device connectivity, component and package configuration, deployment management, telemetry monitoring, deployment history tracking, and resource cleanup.
