However, this is not an ordinary Tabu tree. It is a rare variety known as Beni-Tabu, distinguished by its striking red-colored heartwood. Even among Beni-Tabu trees, this particular log was considered Hon-Beni, a highly prized type known for its exceptionally deep red color.
