Better Than Going German? Peugeot 508 Fastback Review Think of an executive car, and there's a good chance you'll think of a German car. Peugeot, however, is quite keen to change that, with the introduction of the new 508 Fastback. It's a striking looking car, but is it enough to tempt buyers away from Germany's finest? I spent a week with it to find out. The model on test here is the Allure, which sits just above the base model (Active) and starts from a price of £26,339. Standard features include 17" alloys, keyless entry, 10" touchscreen, DAB radio, Bluetooth, smartphone connectivity, navigation, dual zone climate control, i-Cockpit, front and rear parking sensors, 180 degree parking camera, plus more. Fitted to the model here is the 1.5 litre diesel, which produces 130hp and is mated to a 6-speed manual.
