Cashew Leaf BEEF!? Ox Tail in the JUNGLE (Unique Halal Food with ‘Auntie Noi’ in Chiang Mai 🇹🇭)

A feast of traditional Thai food IS the best reward for todays 70km cycling adventure - Chiang Mai is full of home restaurants with Jungle vibes like this one… but I’ve never been to one that serves up such DELICIOUS and traditional Northern recipes like THIS!! With Halal-friendly menu items like jackfruit curry, tomato and shallot oil dip, northern sausage, and this mind-blowing cashew leaf curry, ALL of the food here is made with either fish or beef (and beef fat!) instead of the usual pork. These local Northern Thai recipes are not only unique, they are without a doubt some of the BEST versions of these dishes that I’ve ever had anywhere in Thailand!!
