Chandra Govind Das Gujarati- દુર્યોધનની કથા આપણને એક મોટો પ્રશ્ન પૂછે છે: 👉 ક્યારેક ન્યાય લાગે તે કેવળ કપટથી ભરેલું બદલો હોય શકે છે? 👉 શું અંતે અહંકાર અને ઈર્ષ્યાથી જન્મેલો ન્યાય, સાચો ન્યાય રહી શકે? કુરુ વંશનો ઉદ્ધંડ અને અહંકારી રાજકુમાર દુર્યોધન, હંમેશા પાંડવો સામે અસંતોષ ધરાવતો હતો. તેને લાગતું કે હસ્તિનાપુરનો સિંહાસન માત્ર તેનો અધિકાર છે. ભલે યુધિષ્ઠિર ધર્મનિષ્ઠ અને ન્યાયી હતો, પરંતુ દુર્યોધન માટે પાંડવો હંમેશા એક ધમકી રહ્યા. દુર્યોધનના મનમાં વર્ષોથી સંગ્રહાયેલી ઈર્ષ્યા અને અભિમાને એક દિવસ શાકુનીના ચતુર અને દૂષિત મગજ સાથે મળીને એક મોટું કાવતરુ ઘડ્યું – જ્યુએનું રમતું ખેલ. આ એક રમત નહોતી – એ એક ચાલાકી હતી. પાંડવોને છેતી કરીને તેમને રાજ્ય અને સન્માનથી વંચિત કરવા માટે. દ્રૌપદીનું અપમાન, પાંડવોનું વનવાસ અને અગ્નિ પરીક્ષાઓ – બધું જ દુર્યોધનના "ન્યાય" તરીકે રજૂ થતું. પણ એ ન્યાય હતો કે બદલાની આગ? દુર્યોધન માનતો હતો કે તે જે કરી રહ્યો છે એ પોતાની અસલ હક માટે છે. પાંડવોને હરાવવું એ તેના માટે એક "ધર્મ યુદ્ધ" હતું – ભલે એમાં કપટ, ધોંકો કે અધીર્મના સાધનો કેમ ન હોય. પણ જ્યારે કુરુક્ષેત્રના યુદ્ધમાં દુર્યોધન પોતાના નજીકના મૈત્રીકરણો – કર્ન, દુશાસન, ભીષ્મ, દ્રોણાચાર્યને ગુમાવતો જાય છે અને છેલ્લે જમ્બૂદ્વીપ તળાવમાં ગુપ્ત થઈને શરશૈયા પર પડે છે – ત્યારે પણ તે પોતાને દોષી નથી માનેતો. તેના માટે આ બધું એક યાત્રા હતી – બદલાની યાત્રા, જેને તે "ન્યાય" કહેતો રહ્યો. 🙏 વધુ એવી ધાર્મિક અને મહાભારત કથાઓ માટે વિડિયો ને લાઈક કરો, શેર કરો અને અમારી ચેનલને સબસ્ક્રાઇબ કરવાનું ન ભૂલશો. Duryodhan, the arrogant and obstinate prince of the Kuru dynasty, always harbored deep resentment toward the Pandavas. He believed that the throne of Hastinapur was his rightful inheritance. Even though Yudhishthir was righteous and just, Duryodhan always saw the Pandavas as a threat. Over the years, Duryodhan’s jealousy and pride festered within him, until one day—along with his cunning and manipulative uncle Shakuni—he devised a grand conspiracy: the infamous game of dice. This wasn’t just a game—it was a calculated scheme. The intent was to strip the Pandavas of their kingdom and honor. Draupadi’s humiliation, the Pandavas’ exile, and their countless trials by fire—Duryodhan saw all of this as "justice." But was it truly justice—or the flames of revenge? To Duryodhan, everything he did was a claim to his “rightful” place. Defeating the Pandavas, to him, was a Dharma Yuddha—a righteous war—even if it involved deceit, manipulation, and adharma. But as the Kurukshetra War unfolded, Duryodhan began to lose his dearest allies—Karna, Dushasan, Bhishma, and Dronacharya. Eventually, he went into hiding in the Dwaipayana Lake, only to fall on the bed of arrows after his final battle. And yet, even in those last moments, Duryodhan never saw himself as wrong.
