Moisés Moleiro - Joropo

Moisés Moleiro (1904 – 1979) was a Venezuelan pianist and composer. He started composition around 1923, mostly songs and piano musics. Since he was active in Venezuela, the works is classical and Impressionism, unaffected by European avant-garde music. Moleiro was not an international composer, but a lovable composer. "Joropo"(1944) is a masterpiece of Moleiro and is often played. The Joropo is a traditional music that represents Venezuela.
