Power swap — Findlay Ohio to Southington Connecticut. 653
miles one way. Truck breaks down on the road, you grab a
good unit, bring them the good unit, hook the bad unit,
bring the bad unit back. Pretty common in heavy towing.
Haven't done a far one in a long time.
Going on 26 hours straight by the time I got there. 1,300
miles round trip. I've never been to Connecticut before.
Raining, soaked, 50 degrees, and my low fuel light was on.
$550 in fuel — diesel was $5.50 a gallon out there on the
East Coast. Nothing broke. There's always a little fear of
breaking down that far away from home.
Had a football scrimmage to get back to for my boys.
