Hiking at Lagoa do Fogo on São Miguel | Azores

Lagoa do Fogo ("Fire Lake") is the crater lake at the volcano crater of Água de Pau Massif at the center of São Miguel. São Miguel is a perfect place for hiking. This is a fantastic hike down into the crater, along the beautiful shore, back up the crater wall and along the crater ridge. After this I hike down the volcano to the north to visit the hot springs of Caldeira Velha and the magnificient Salto do Cabrito.
