The Harvest Church | Pastor Lisa Barnett | Living the Will of God | How to Know & Walk in God’s Will

What is God’s will for your life? How do you know when God is speaking, and how do you recognize the next step He wants you to take? In this powerful message, *“Living the Word of God,”* we discover that the **will of God is revealed through the Word of God**. Romans 12:1–2 reminds us that transformation begins when we surrender ourselves to God and allow our minds to be renewed. Through the life of the Apostle Paul, we see two life-changing questions: *“Who are You, Lord?”* *“What do You want me to do?”* Before Paul could understand his assignment, he first had to know the One who was assigning him. The same is true for us. God desires more than simply giving us instructions—He desires relationship, surrender, obedience, and trust. You'll also discover how God can reveal His will through *His Word, the Holy Spirit, prayer, godly counsel, circumstances, open and closed doors, and obedience.* You don't have to know the entire plan before you obey God. Stop demanding step 10 when God has already given you step 1. God may not reveal the entire blueprint. Sometimes He gives you enough revelation to take the next step. Stop waiting for the entire blueprint. Obey what God has already shown you. Write the vision. Take the next step. Walk in obedience. Stay in the NOW. Live the will of God. *QUESTION:* What is the next thing God has told you to do? Share it in the comments and encourage someone else who is believing God for direction.
