What started as a legitimate West Coast performance movement eventually became one of the most recognizable stereotypes in motorcycle culture: T-bars, quarter fairings, tall suspension, Simpson helmets, flannels, Dickies, Vans…and the attitude of a guy who thinks your bike sucks before you even park it. But underneath all the bullshit, the Dyna Bro movement actually changed motorcycling. It pushed performance, created an enormous aftermarket, influenced how Harley-Davidsons were built and ridden, and helped turn the Dyna into one of the most customizable motorcycles ever made. So what happened?
