Early launch scramble (Wave 1) crowded Oswestry Balloon Carnival

Oswestry Balloon Carnival once again provides the backdrop for a spectacular Hot Air Balloon Launch - With it's small launch area, and lots of teams attending (30 in 2026) it doesn't take long till balloons are packed in tight. As always here at THE BIG BALLOON FESTIVAL we set up the cameras inside the arena right amongst the launching balloons. Enjoy exclusive footage from onboard our flagship `Mercury' as we lift off, climb over the fleet and look back for a grandstand view only a balloon pilot (and a viewer) can gain.
