For my second stop of my first mini solo trip, I visited the historic city of Cologne, Germany. By accident, I happened to visit on Ascension Day which made the visit to the cathedral that much more magical... however, it also meant that everything else was closed. Nevertheless, some beautiful sights to be seen!
