All Japan Kickboxing Federation Knockout Compilation | Volume II (1996-2005)

As Japan's kickboxing revival took shape around the K-1 promotion, the All Japan Kickboxing Federation found itself facing stiff competition among other difficulties. While international stars of the heavier weight divisions flocked to K-1, no fewer than three splinter promotions broke from the AJK within two years, including the New Japan Kickboxing Federation (NJKF). Despite facing bankruptcy, the organization found strength in desperation and remained the standard of the lower and middling weight divisions, thanks in large to the effort of young stars such as Masato Kobayashi, Genki Yamamoto and Shinobu Amara.
